The Swim with Dolphins facility at Hyatt Ziva is conveniently located right in the middle of the Cancun Hotel Zone at Punta Cancun, Km 9.5.  Free transportation is provided from your Cancun hotel, so it is really easy to fit into a day when you don't have all day to spend.  You can whisk in and out of Punta Cancun in just a couple of hours, leaving you the rest of the day!

The Dolphin Swim facility at Punta Cancun is very new and nice, and is a natural lagoon with a constant irrigation of sea water for the comfort and health of the dolphins.  The nice thing about Hyatt Ziva other than its great location right in the heart of the Hotel Zone, is that it is a pretty small facility.  This means that the dolphin swims that take place here are focused on small groups for a personal and intimate experience.  Primax 4 features groups of 4 people or less, Couples Dream Swim has only 2 people in a group, and of course The One has only 1 person in the group in this exclusive private experience.

OUR RECOMMENDATIONS

Primax 4 - This is the most popular dolphin activity at Punta Cancun.  It is a 1 hour activity, featuring 45 minutes in the water with the dolphins.  The best part of this activity is the famous foot push, where you are propelled across the water at such high speed that you actually lift out of the water like Superman!  That and the exclusive small groups of 4 people or less really sets this apart.

Dolphin Swim & Ride - We primarily recommend this for people whose budget doesn't allow for the Primax 4 activity.  It is also a great experience, featuring an exciting ride across the water holding onto the dolphin's dorsal fin.  It is a 45 minute activity, featuring 30 minutes in the water with the dolphins.  Group size is limited to 10 people or less.

Dolphin Trainer for a Day - This is the ultimate dolphin activity.  You will spend a full day with the dolphin trainers, learning how they care for and train the dolphins, including a whopping 200 minutes in the water with the dolphins.  Primax is included in the program, plus so much more.  If you have the time, this is really a wonderful experience.  With groups of 6 or less, it is a really personal activity.

Couples Swim Special - Created as a romantic option for couples to have a personal dolphin experience together, this is also a great option for you to do with your child, a family member or a friend.  Just the two of you in the water with the dolphins, creating some wonderful photo opportunities and a real memory.  A perfect marriage proposal idea, you will have 60 minutes in the water with the dolphins in a 75 minute activity.

The One - This is the most exclusive dolphin activity at Punta Cancun.  Private, just you and the dolphin having a one on one experience that is unequalled.  This is a 75 minute activity featuring 60 minutes in the water with the dolphins.

HOW TO GET TO THE DOLPHIN CENTER:

Round-trip transportation from your Cancun hotel is included with your activity, so there is really nothing to worry about.  If you did want to go there on your own though, you can take the Hotel Zone bus for about 60 cents, or take a taxi from your hotel.  It is conveniently located at Punta Cancun, Km 9.5 of the Hotel Zone.
