Deep in the heart of the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico resides the most famous of all the ancient Mayan cities - Chichen Itza.  This tour is one of the most popular Chichen Itza tours in all of Cancun, and for good reason.  After pickup from your Cancun hotel, you'll be treated to a very nice continental breakfast en route to the ruins site, including beverages.  We'll make a 20 minute stop on the way where you can find local villagers offering their handicrafts for sale, stretch your legs, and use the restrooms.

Upon arriving at Chichen Itza, you'll feast on a delicious Mexican buffet lunch at the famous Mayaland Hotel, recently voted as the # 1 hotel in the entire Yucatan by Conde Nast Traveler magazine.  We include 2 drinks with you meal (beer, sodas and water), and treat you to a fun and enlightening Mexican folkloric show, complete with local music, dancing and costumes.

After lunch, we'll escort you on a guided tour of the ruins site, where you'll gain insight and be amazed at this advanced civilization.  Once the tour is over, you have free time to explore, take photos, or use the facilities at the Mayaland Hotel, including swimming in the pool, use towels, restrooms, hammocks, etc.  A nice way to relax and cool off after a great day of touring the ruins.  We'll also visit a cenote, which is a sacred Mayan well, once used for such activities as making sacrifices to the gods.

At around 4:30PM, you'll board the bus and again be treated to beverages for a comfortable ride back to Cancun.
