Kids: Ages 10 and up. PADI regulations state that students younger than 15 years will receive PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification, which they may upgrade to PADI Open Water Diver certification upon reaching 15. Divers over 15 years old will achieve full open water certification for life upon completion.
Referral Course: Have you already done your book work and pool time at home and just want to complete your open water dives in Cancun? We offer a referral course for $215.00 that will finish off your certification. Click here for details.
Restrictions: All participants must complete a medical questionnaire before scuba diving, which must be approved by the instructor who will ensure you are physically fit for scuba diving. Instructor may ask for a doctor's approval if there is any reason for concern, so you will want to book well in advance to give yourself time to complete this just in case it applies to you. Participants must be able to swim 200 meters/yards, float and tread water for 10 minutes. This can be any way you want, and there is no time limit.
