An ecological journey through the jungles and history of the Costa Maya, this tour is designed for nature lovers from around the world. Visit Rancho El Anca, where your guide will escort you through the jungle to a recently uncovered Mayan Ruins site. Next, your guide will take you to see a Haltun, the ancient wells of the Maya. Learn about the symbiotic relationships between native plants, trees and wildlife, learn how chewing gum is made, and spot beautiful tropical birds, hawks, and butterflies. You may spot coati mundi, deer, iguanas, tejones, or on that rare but incredibly special occasion, even a rare jaguar or panther in the distance. |
