Our bottom fishing charters are popular with people who don't care how big the fish they catch is, as long as they catch fish. We have a success rate of about 99% when bottom fishing, which means you are almost guaranteed to catch at least something! We can also do a bottom fishing trip as a combination with a deep sea fishing charter - just deep sea fish until you feel like switching, or vice-versa! If you'd like to do a combo trip, just mention it when booking. Bottom fishing charters are traditionally done by drifting offshore and dropping lines down way deep. |

Cruise Passengers: The boats are located at the Puerto Aventuras marina, just 10 minutes by taxi from the cruise pier in Calica. Cozumel cruise passengers should do this tour in Cozumel.
Schedule: 4 Hour Trips depart at 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM every day. For 6 Hour and 8 Hour Trips, you can choose the start time. Trips run 7 days a week.
Departs: Marina Puerto Aventuras (15 min. south of Playa del Carmen). There is no marina in Playa del Carmen itself. Taxis are readily available at all Playa del Carmen hotels to take you to the marina. We can also depart from the Fisherman's Pier in Puerto Morelos if that is closer to your hotel.

These are all private charters - you have the boat to yourself. All boats have restrooms.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:

NO PORT, NO PAY POLICY - If you're coming on a cruise ship to Calica and your ship doesn't port or is too late to make your charter, you will receive a 100% refund.

DEPOSIT REQUIRED - A 25% to 30% deposit is required to hold your boat. The remainder can be paid at the marina on the day of the trip, or you can pay in advance via PayPal or credit card. We cannot accept credit cards at the marina however.
NO-RISK WEATHER POLICY - If the weather is bad and the tour cannot go out for any reason, you will receive a 100% refund. No risk, no worries!
