JUNGLE MAYA EXTREME
FROM PLAYA DEL CARMEN - SEE FROM
An incredible combination of Mayan culture, breathtaking natural treasures, and unforgettable adventure activities! Take a rugged expedition in our Mercedes Benz 4x4 Unimog tour vehicle to a family run ranch, Rancho San Felipe, where we'll start our tour.
Discover the world's largest underground river system and snorkel in the crystal clear water at the mouth of Nohoch Nah Chiich cave, where you'll be dazzled by underwater and above ground stalactites and stalagmites. Then we're off, heading deep into the jungle.
Your guide will lead you on a short nature walk, where he will explain the unique ecosystem of Playa del Carmen. Visit Yaxmuul Cenote, where you can swim and refresh yourself. Discover what makes it unique and important to the local Mayans.
We'll traverse through the jungle to Kantenah Nature Reserve. Here we'll do an exciting rappel 50 feet into a cenote! If that's not enough excitement, try your hand at a canopy tour consisting of three awesome zip lines, high above the jungle floor.
We'll meet a local Mayan family and get to participate in a traditional Mayan cleansing ritual, and eat a home cooked buffet lunch featuring Yucatan dishes and handmade tortillas. Mayan culture, adventure and the natural ecosystem all in one great tour!
