Wet N Wild Cancun is the only water park in Cancun Mexico, and is the most popular water park in all of the Caribbean. This 18-acre park is also home to the Dolphinaris Dolphin Swims. If you book the Swim With Dolphins activity, you'll get entrance to Wet N Wild Free! If you don't want to Swim With Dolphins, the park itself is a great way for families with kids to spend a day.
Staying in Playa Del Carmen or the Riviera Maya? No problem. You can add round-trip transportation to the park for just $10 with your entrance fee or with any dolphin swim. If your kids are disgruntled about having to see Mayan Ruins with you for days straight, this is a good way to pay them back for their patience! The park is conveniently located at the South End of the Cancun Hotel Zone. ATTRACTIONS AT PARQUE NIZUC Dolphinaris Dolphinaris is the part of Parque Nizuc where the dolphin and sea lions activities are held. There are several options to choose from. The Dolphin Interactive Program is best for small kids or people who are not comfortable in the water. The Swim With Dolphins Program is best for the general population. It's a great experience - you get footpushed across the natural lagoon, the dolphins give you kisses, and you get to have them do tricks all around you while you're in the water. The Trainer for a Day Program is awesome - if you have all day to burn, this is really worth it. You get to interact with the dolphins and trainers all day long including the Swim with Dolphins program. New to Dolphinaris is the Sea Lion Swim where you can swim with not only the Dolphins, but the Sea Lions as well. If you purchase any of these programs online through the links above, admission to Wet N Wild is free! Wet N Wild Wet n Wild is the water theme park part of Parque Nizuc. The park isn't as good as the Wet n Wild parks in the States, but it's the only water park in Cancun. It's best for younger kids - adults and teenagers may get bored after a while - but the youngsters love it. If you're doing one of the Atlantida activities, it's definitely worth a walk over to the water park for a few hours. OUR RECOMMENDATIONS If you want to swim with the dolphins, and you're not planning on leaving Cancun proper, then this is the best place to do it. You swim with the dolphins in the ocean, not in a pool, and you get free admission to the Wet N Wild park too. The sea lions activity is the only place in town you can do this. You used to have to go to Cozumel. If you have younger kids, this park will give them a lot of fun. Older kids and adults without young ones of their own will probably have more fun at other places around Cancun, but if you're doing the dolphin swim already, then it is worth a couple of hours to check out the park. HOW TO GET TO WET N WILD: Parque Nizuc is located just south of the Cancun Hotel Zone, on the way to the airport. The city bus will take you there for next to nothing from the Hotel Zone or Downtown. From Playa Del Carmen and the Riviera Maya, the best way to get to Parque Nizuc is to take a tour - it only costs $15 extra for the round-trip transportation and hotel pickup.
