Paddleboarding is easy to learn with a little instruction such as our Introduction to SUP. A hands-on and personal lesson will teach you the few techniques you need to be paddling around yourself in no time. SUP is a fun activity for the whole family, and it takes place on one of Costa Maya's best beaches, right in the heart of the activity of Mahahual's lively Malecon, or boardwalk.

Once you've taken your SUP lesson, you can then rent a paddle board to practice your new skills the rest of the day with one of our upgraded excursions like SUP Experience Plus. Q: How hard is SUP to learn?
A: SUP is very easy to learn for all ages. It is a fun family activity. And if you have a family member that doesn't want to try, they can hang out at the beach club while you try your hand at paddle boarding.

Q: How do I get there from the cruise pier?
A: The beach club is just 2 minutes from the cruise pier by taxi, about $8.00. You just hop in a cab there at the pier and you're on the boardwalk in no time.

Q: I don't want to SUP all day long, so what else can I do?
A: Combining paddle boarding with a day at the beach is always popular, such as our SUP All-Inclusive options. Or, you are right in the middle of the action, so you can combine it with pretty much any of our other excursions, it's only to walk over from one excursion to the next! Then there is shopping, strolling, etc.
