SWIM WITH DOLPHINS IN CANCUN - CANCUN DOLPHIN SWIMMING
Imagine - you're swimming free
in the ocean in a tropical paradise...suddenly a small pod of friendly dolphins
approaches you - they cuddle up to you, kissing you giving you a dorsal tow,
let you rub their bellies, then they get silly and start doing tricks all
around you - finally they push you by your feet with their noses across the
ocean, lifting you out of the water like Superman! Now it can happen
to you. Swimming With Dolphins in Cancun is an experience you'll never
forget.

WHICH DOLPHIN SWIM IS THE BEST?
Each of the dolphin facilities in and around Cancun does an excellent
job with their swim with dolphins activities. There really is no
"best place". No matter where you do the swim, you'll have a
wonderful time. Our advice is to choose your location based on
where you'll be. Punta Cancun is the most convenient if you just want to
swim with the dolphins and aren't interested in visiting other
attractions like the Aquarium or Wet N Wild, and a good choice if you
just want a quick dolphin swim without spending the whole day out. Isla Mujeres now
offers a really nice all-inclusive package with all their dolphin swims,
including a beach club, snorkeling with stingrays and sharks, open bar,
a bike tour, a downtown tour, and more, so you'll want to take a look at
that.
If you want to visit Xcaret or Xel Ha, then it's good to
do your swim there. Xel Ha in particular we have some pretty great
All-Inclusive deals that save you up to 40% off regular prices. If you plan on taking an excursion to Isla Mujeres
or Cozumel, there are very good dolphins facilities there. If you
are staying in the Riviera Maya and aren't planning to visit Xel-Ha or
Xcaret, then one of the locations based in the Riviera Maya is the most convenient location
for you, and they all include transportation from your hotel. If you won't be leaving Cancun at all this vacation, it's not necessary to
do so just for your dolphin swim. You can do your swim at Punta
Cancun, or the swims at Wet N Wild and the
Cancun Interactive Aquarium are very good choices as well, particularly
with small kids.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN ENCOUNTER AND A SWIM?
The Swim With Dolphins activity is about an hour long, and allows
you to actually swim with the dolphins. You finish off by being footpushed
across the dolphinarium so fast you actually lift out of the water.
The Encounter (also called the Interactive Program) is usually about a half
hour long, and you interact with the dolphins from platforms about three feet
deep instead of swimming with them. We always recommend spending the
extra money for the full swim except for children and those who are very uncomfortable
in the water.
