Enjoy the express Chichen Itza that takes you directly to the ancient ruins, you'll be back on time for dinner. This excursion is the shortest public tour to the archaeological site, this trip lasts 9 hours! Chichen Itza was declared one of the new 7 wonders of the world, and it takes about a 2.5 hour drive from Playa del Carmen. This excursion has been reduced, most tours take 12 hours, all of the time consuming extras and you will go directly to the ruins for a great cultural visit. You'll have a tour guide take you around the site for a 60 minute tour, then you will be able to do some exploration on your own for another 60 minutes. Basically here is how it goes, you go to Chichen Itza, see the ruins and return to Playa del Carmen. Once you are back on-board on your ferry back to Cozumel in time, you should be getting back to your hotel around 5:00 PM, to get dinner and enjoy the night in the Island. |

Departure: Meet at the ferry pier in
Playa del Carmen by Senor Frogs. You will need to take the passenger
ferry over from Cozumel on your own to meet the tour.
