Q: Do you get to swim with the horses or take them into the water?
A:  No.  In an effort to preserve the delicate marine ecosystem, no ranch in the Riviera Maya is allowed to take the horses into the water.  They used to be able to, but the law has since changed to protect the coral reefs and marine life.

Q:  Where are these tours located?  Which is closest to my hotel?
A:  Our horseback riding tours are conveniently located just 10-15 minutes from Playa del Carmen's bustling downtown, except the Zip Lines combo which is further into the jungle, about 40 minutes from town.

Q: I'm on a cruise ship - can I do these tours?
A:  Yes, except for our Horseback & Cenotes! All of our other horseback rides are only about 25 minutes from to the Calica cruise pier.  Taxis are readily available at the pier when you arrive and are inexpensive.

Q: Can I ride on the Beach?
A: These tours no longer are allowed to ride on the beach, due to erosion.

Q: This is my first time riding a horse, can I do these tours?
A:  Yes!  These are tourist class rides - most people that do them have never ridden, or only a few times.

Q: Is there a weight limit for these horseback riding tours?
A: Yes.  There is a 220 lbs (100 kg) weight limit.

Q: Do you pick up at my hotel?
A:  Yes!  All these horseback riding tours include hotel pick-up and drop-off except for downtown and Playacar hotels which may meet at Plaza Playacar or another convenient location.
