Geared toward people staying in the Northern Riviera Maya, between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, this tour offers you a great and inexpensive way to visit Cozumel Island without the confines of a tour. Once in Cozumel, you are free to enjoy on your own. We will pick you up at your Riviera Maya hotel, and take you in air-conditioned comfort to the ferry pier in Playa del Carmen. We'll take the 10:00 AM ferry to Cozumel, reaching the island about 10:40 AM. Then you have the whole day to yourself to rent a car, walk, shop, whatever. At about 4:45 PM, we'll board the ferry and head back to Playa del Carmen, where you'll board the transportation back to your hotel. All told, about 6 hours to tour Cozumel on your own, whether driving around the island, shopping downtown or enjoying a tour there. |

Notes: Wear comfortable light and fresh clothes, as well as good walking shoes or sneakers, swim suit, towel, and sunglasses. Bring only Biodegradable Sunscreen, and remember some extra money for food, drinks, shopping, and water activities.
