MAYAN RIVIERA
TULUM RUINS TOURS
Tulum is one of the most famous Mayan Ruins sites in
the Riviera Maya, set high on a cliff top, overlooking the blue waters
of the Caribbean Sea - a startling contrast that is a photographer's
delight. It is the closest major Mayan Ruins site to Cancun, and
the cruise pier of Calica, and as such is one of the most visited in all
of Mexico. We offer the biggest variety of Tulum tours in the
Riviera Maya!

Just below the Tulum ruins lies a small but beautiful
beach, ranked by National Geographic Traveller magazine as the 4th best
in the world. You can walk down the steps to the beach for a
cooling off if you have time. Tulum is not as large or impressive
as Chichen Itza, but it does have three major temples - El Castillo (the
main tower), the Temple of the Descending God, and the Temple of the
Frescoes.
Tulum Tours - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How long will it take to explore Tulum?
A: Give yourself about 2 hours and you should be fine.
This is how long most of the public tours spend, and if you're planning
a private tour, this is a good guideline. You'll want to give
yourself some more time if you want to spend some time on the beach
however.
Q: How far is Tulum from Playa del Carmen?
From Cancun?
A: Tulum is about 1.5 hours south of Cancun, and about 45 minutes
south of Playa del Carmen.
Q: I'm on a cruise ship to Cozumel - can I visit
Tulum?
A: Normally, yes. You will need to do a private tour, as the
public tours will leave too early for you to do them, but you normally
will have plenty of time to visit Tulum and still get back to your ship
in Cozumel on time.
