DOLPHIN SWIM ACTIVITIES AT XCARET PARK
One of the greatest attractions of the many at Xcaret is the Swim With Dolphins activity. This will be the highlight of your trip, and an experience you'll remember forever. You actually interact with the dolphins in the dolphinarium, you stroke them, they give you kisses, do acrobatics, and even footpush you across the water, making you feel like Superman! A real thrill for sure!

OUR RECOMMENDATIONS:
You can Swim With Dolphins at Xcaret whether you're on a tour, or if you are visiting on your own in a rental car. This is an experience not to be missed. We recommend swimming with the dolphins at Xcaret only if you want to enjoy the entire day here, as the entry fees are expensive. The dolphin swim here is wonderful, but not more so than any of the other wonderful places around Cancun and the Riviera. Plan to do your dolphin swim at the location that you most want to see, whether it's Xel-Ha, Xcaret, Isla Mujeres, Cozumel, or just in Cancun proper - don't worry about where you do it - they're all great fun.
IMPORTANT: It is very important to reserve your Xcaret dolphin swim online before you leave for Cancun. This is a hugely popular activity, and especially in high season, if you wait until you get to Xcaret and try to sign up, you will almost certainly not get to swim with the dolphins. We offer you several choices above.
HOW TO GET TO XCARET:
The vast majority of visitors to Xcaret do so on a tour. This is the best way to get there, as the tour will include hotel pickup and drop-off. The night show is always included for free. A private tour will get you a couple of extra hours at the park while a public tour can cost a little bit less, especially if you are only a couple of people. This is usually the most cost-effective way because the entry fee to Xcaret alone is $79 so if you can get picked up and dropped off at your hotel and not have to drive for only $10 extra - that's a good deal in our book.
If you are an independent traveler and cringe at the idea of a tour, even a private one, you can get to Xcaret by rental car, by bus, by taxi, or by collectivo. The collectivo or bus will let you off along the highway where the "Flintstones" shuttle bus will pick you up every 10 minutes and take you to the park. A taxi from Cancun will cost you between $80 and $100 one-way. After 7:00pm, there are no more collectivos and you'll have to take a taxi so beware. A taxi from Playa Del Carmen is about $15 each way. Public buses are about $3.00 from Cancun and Playa Del Carmen.
IMPORTANT: Save time by Booking Your Park Admission Online.
