SWIM WITH SEA LIONS IN CANCUN, RIVIERA MAYA AND COZUMEL

An incredible experience that you'll remember forever.  You'll get to interact with these friendly and lovable creatures as they shake flippers with you, and do aerial acrobatics with you.  This is a fun activity for all ages, and a new experience for most people.  We offer this activity in Cancun and Cozumel, plus in Isla Mujeres and Riviera Maya you can also swim with manatees and dolphins!

OUR RECOMMENDATIONS

Which one is right for me you ask?  Here are our recommendations.

Fun with Sea Lions - Right in the Cancun Hotel Zone, this activity takes place at the Cancun Interactive Aquarium.  Here you can also swim with sharks and dolphins, to really make a day of it.  Plus you get free entrance to the aquarium, a free dolphins show, and La Isla Mall is right there with lots of good shops and restaurants.  Easy to fit in with any schedule because it's so convenient.

Sea Life Discovery Plus - Our favorite Sea Lions option for those staying in Cancun.  On this one, you'll take the ferry (included) over to Isla Mujeres from the Cancun Hotel Zone.  It takes about 20 minutes.  Once you're there, you'll enjoy not only the sea lions, but this activity includes encounters with dolphins and manatees too, plus a fantasy snorkel with stingrays and sharks, all for one great price!  Plus it includes food and drinks!  A real steal, and we have a great price!

Sea Life Circle Riviera Maya - This is similar to Sea Life Discovery Plus, but it is located about 15 minutes south of Playa del Carmen in the Riviera Maya.  If you are staying in the Riviera Maya, anywhere south of Cancun, then this is the one you'll want.  Transportation from your Riviera Maya hotel is included in the price so very convenient for you, and so much fun!

Cozumel Sea Lion Encounter - Best for Cozumel guests, including cruise ship passengers looking for a great shore excursion.  This is pretty far from Cancun and the Riviera Maya, so probably you only want this if you're staying in Cozumel or visiting on a cruise ship.   Free entrance to Chankanaab Park, which is really nice, so you can make a day of it.

HOW TO GET TO YOUR SEA LION SWIM

If you are doing the Cancun or Isla Mujeres sea lion swims, you'll just take the bus over to the Cancun Aquarium, located right in the heart of the hotel zone at La Isla Mall (Km 11.5).  It's easy and it's cheap.  Taxis are also readily available and inexpensive, very easy.  If you are staying in the Riviera Maya, then the Sea Life Circle will pick you up at your hotel and drop you off there after the tour, so really easy there.  If you do the swim in Cozumel, you'll take a taxi to the facility at Chankanaab Park.  It's only a few dollars from anywhere on Cozumel.  Then you can hang out at the park the rest of the day if you like.
