Cross from Cozumel over to Akumal Bay, just across the channel, near the small coastal town of Akumal, and enjoy for one of the most incredible experiences of your lifetime. This is a unique place. Here like nowhere else in Cozumel or the Riviera Maya, sea turtles congregate to feed on the lush sea grasses. You'll take the ferry over to the mainland from Cozumel (tickets included), and travel south to Akumal Bay to swim alongside these fantastic and graceful creatures of the seas. You'll snorkel in shallow waters where the barrier reef invites loggerhead sea turtles to feed. Snorkel with the sea turtles for about 50 minutes, look also for manta rays and large schools of fish. After snorkeling, you can relax on a beautiful white sand beach for 2 hours, where a BBQ or Buffet lunch is served and the bar is open before returning to Cozumel. |
