In the Mayan Adventure you
will be able to discover the beauty of the cenotes (natural sinkholes)
along the Riviera Maya. These curious geologic structures have been formed
through water erosion in the limestone structure and filled by underground
rivers with sweet water. Discover a miracle of nature and open your senses to these wonders called cenotes. During this adventure you will visit two Cenotes (one open and one underground) and one lagoon in the middle of the lush alluring jungle. Start at a large open cenote, where the crystalline waters resemble a lake. Bask in the clear, fresh water or take the "Mayan Sacrifice", a 15-foot cliff jump into the cenote. The next stop is an amazing underground cenote, where you will be stunned by the stalactite and stalagmite formations contained in the cenote's underground river. Last we'll snorkel on the coral reefs at Yal-Ku Lagoon in Akumal, maybe seeing stingrays or even sea turtles, along with many brightly colored tropical fish. Finish the day off with a delicious lunch! |
