Then enjoy lunch at a colonial house by the Central Plaza, swim in a magnificent Mayan underwater grotto, and develop your own appreciation for this great people. With just your guide and a small group of ten people or less, this adventure takes on a whole new flavor. More personal attention, more customization to your interests, and of course an opportunity to interact with your guide and the others on your tour. Depart from Playa del Carmen to the magnificent Mayan ruins site of Chichen Itza, where your expert guide will share the wonders of this fascinating place with you. After enjoying lunch at an authentic private colonial home, we'll explore Valladolid, and free time on your own to see the charming town square, church, and look in the local shops. Top off the day with a refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters of cenote. A truly eye-opening way to experience the Mayan empire! |

Where: Pick-up at your Playa del Carmen hotel is available for $20.00 per person, round-trip (starting from $30.00 if staying North of Playa del Carmen), paid in cash on the day of the trip. If you have your own transportation, you can meet the tour in Tulum and then you won't need to pay this fee.
