Our newest Ek Balam Eco-Adventure combo excursion. We'll start with a visit to the archaeological site. The ancient Maya city had its glory before Chichen Itza. This archaeological site is one of the latest attractions because of its most recent restoration. After the visit to the ancient Mayan city we'll continue our tour with a refreshing swim in a cenote, a great natural pool with beautiful rock formations. You can rappel down inside it! You can also zip line into the cenote, or swing on "Tarzan's Vine" into its cool waters. Great fun! After swimming in the cenote, you are invited to have a very delicious Mayan buffet lunch in a local restaurant, and then spend some free time in a Mayan Village to watch local artisans create authentic Mayan handicrafts, explore the gardens or relax in the hammocks. |
