Spend a day of your vacation in search of the modern cultural aspects of the Mayan Empire. On the Uchben Beel tour, we'll explore remote areas of the Yucatan that are seldom seen by tourists. We'll explore century-old churches, museums, cemeteries, and ruins in a variety of Mayan villages who were a central battle ground in the Caste War of Yucatan, a 60-year battle between the Mayas of the region and the Spanish colonials.

After a delicious Mayan lunch at Ki Jaa nal restaurant, we'll explore the natural side of this area, as we hike into the jungle to the Sacalac Cenote, where you can cool off with a swim in it's virgin fresh water. Then we'll paddle a kayak across the lagoon, as your guide shares with you his knowledge of the area. This is a truly off-the-beaten-path tour, visiting many areas never visited by any other tours, and offering a unique look at this era in history.
