This tour is something very different - it combines history, culture, and ecotourism in one full day of adventure. Start your morning as we tour the historical Mayan villages and churches from the Caste War of Yucatan in the late 1800s, where the Mayas revolted against the Spanish settlers. This war lasted for nearly 60 years, and the history is largely untold in tours from Cancun. After enjoying lunch at an authentic Mayan restaurant, we'll take a short walk into the jungle to Sacalac Cenote, where you can cool off with a swim in the fresh waters. Then we'll kayak across a Mayan lagoon, admiring the local wildlife along the way. A truly unique and different way to explore the Yucatan. |
