If you want to explore Chichen Itza and the Mayan world in a different way than the regular bus tours - really peek inside the magnificence that this ancient people once held, and still pride themselves in today - this is probably the tour for you.  Small, intimate groups of 10 people or less will accompany your expert English-speaking guide as he enlightens you about the Mayan civilization.  Start your tour with an exploration of the majestic Chichen Itza Mayan ruins site - the pillar of Mayan history and prowess. Where most Chichen Itza tours stop, this tour is just beginning!  Head to the colonial Spanish town of Valladolid, where you can see how many Mayans live today.  After a delicious Yucatecan lunch at an authentic private colonial home near the Central Plaza, we'll have free time to explore this cozy town and it's unique town square. During the tour you will also have a chance to swim in the magnificent Cenote, an underground Mayan grotto with crystal clear water.  This is an amazing Mayan adventure!
