A true Mayan adventure for the ruins explorer! Due to popular demand, we now offer this exciting tour to Uxmal, perhaps the finest example of Mayan architecture in the Yucatan.

Uxmal dates back nearly 1,500 years, providing one of the best looks back at the ancient civilization of the Mayas. You can also climb the great pyramid, known as "The Pyramid of the Magician". We'll stay for the light and sound spectacular, where the tale of the Mayas is told through a light show.

The next day, we'll visit the magical town of Izamal, once the most important religious location in the Northern Yucatan. Izamal's history dates back all the way to 750 BC.

This is followed by a visit to Chichen Itza, one of the 7 wonders of the world.

Itinerary:

FIRST DAY
7:15 AM	Departure from your hotel lobby, and travel to Merida. Historical tour of "La Plaza Grande", free time to explore, and check-in at the five star El Castellano Hotel.
1:45 PM	Depart for Uxmal. Guided tour of the ruins site followed by a delicious dinner and the spectacular light and sound show.
9:30 PM	Return to the Hotel for a good night's sleep.
SECOND DAY
8:30 AM	Check out of our hotel and head to Itzamal. Visit the 16th century convent of San Antonio de Padua. Continue to Chichen Itza to visit this most famous ruins site.
2:00 PM	Lunch Time
6:30 PM	Return to Cancun
