Join us for an incredible guided tour of the ancient Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, the most impressive, most well-preserved, and perhaps most important Mayan ruins site in Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, certainly the most within driving distance from the Riviera Maya. Established by the ancient Mayas in approximately 400 AD and maintaining prominence for as much as 900 years, Chichen Itza is now the most famous tourist attraction in the Riviera Maya area. Chichen Itza Plus offers a guided tour of these ancient ruins, plus free time to explore on your own. You'll ride to Chichen Itza on air-conditioned Transportation and enjoy unlimited drinks on board during the whole trip. Before going to the ruins we'll enjoy a delicious lunch buffet, full of regional delights. The delicious food will set the mood and you'll be ready, full of energy, for your visit to the Mayan Capital. |

After this short visit you'll be treated to a Mexican buffet lunch that includes two drinks with your meal. Eat well as you'll need the energy to do an afternoon of cultural exploration! Once in Chichen Itza, you'll be received by one of our friendly bilingual tour guides who will answer all your questions about the ancient Mayas and you will have the opportunity to do some exploration on your own with free time to roam the site, explore the ruins, or take photos.
After your visit to the Mayan ruins, we'll visit a Mayan Cenote for a refreshing swim to cool off after a morning of cultural delight. This natural pools were considered a portal to the underworld and were also the only source of water in the Maya world.
