Take a break from the beach to engage in a real Mayan experience! This tour is part of the sustainable tourism effort in the Riviera Maya, where the local Mayas work hand-in-hand with your adventure guides to help engage you in their culture and their traditions, as well as to help generate income for the local people. Start your adventure with a visit to the Tulum Mayan Ruins site, where you'll spend 2 hours. Here you'll discover the secrets of this ancient Mayan city, and admire the beauty of it's cliff top setting, overlooking the Caribbean Sea. We'll stop at a hidden Cenote, where you'll climb down into a unique underground limestone cavern, and snorkel in it's crystal-clear fresh waters. We'll learn about the geology of the caverns, and how important they are to the local area. We'll engage in a Mayan Purification Ceremony, held in much the same fashion as it has been for centuries, and eat a delicious handmade Mayan lunch. Then it's off to have some real adventure, as you zip line from tree to tree, on zip lines as long as 530 feet! |

Kids: All ages welcome. Prices apply to ages 6-12. Kids 3-5 years old must pay a mandatory $25.00 USD transportation fee in cash the day of the tour.

Restrictions: This expedition is not recommended for people with severe back problems, any severe physical or motor handicap, serious heart problems, or for obese people or for those who suffer from claustrophobia or do not know how to swim. Children under 6 years, pregnant women and people under the effects of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate in this expedition. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Minimum height is 3.6 ft (1.10 m). Weight Limit is 264 lbs (120 kg) for the Zip Line and Rappelling. People over the weight limit can still do the rest of the tour.
